Roy Carter 2nd Ever Production Sale Preview

On Wednesday May 12 the ABBI Sanctioned Roy Carter Production Sale will provide it’s 2nd ever opportunity to
purchase genetics from a deeply historical and continually-evolving modern program. With important contributions to
the bucking bull industry like super-sire 00 Super Dave, multi-time PBR Bucking Bull of the Year Contender 13X Kid
Rock and ABBI heavy-hitter 233 Eddie Munster, the Carter program has cultivated a perpetual bucking and producing
paradigm.

Bucking bulls have played an essential role in the life of Roy Carter, who rode bulls for twenty years and eventually
began breeding and raising them in 1992. An enormous stepping stone for Carter’s breeding program stemmed from a
purchase he made from brother Punk who was forced to sell some of his cattle because of a back injury. These cattle
were distributed among many respected programs around the country including Roy’s.

Among the cattle Punk Carter sold were two half-brothers sired by a brahman-watusi bull. These two bulls would later
go on to paint a monumental portion of bucking bull genetic history. The first 00 Super Dave, was sold to Pages, went
to the NFR and became a very influential sire, while the other RCX Alligator followed suite and was sold to Roy among a
set of 14 bulls and 13 heifers.

Among those cattle sold to Roy was a heifer that would later be known as RC 10. Roy held onto Alligator for some time
before selling him to stock contractor David Bailey. Alligator was hauled to three NFR’s by Bailey before ultimately
ending up back with Roy who then put him on some cows, one of them being RC 10.

The mating between RCX and RC10 ultimately produced one of the PBR's all time fan-favorites and bucking super-star
sensation Kid Rock.

"Roy bought that group of cattle from me and held onto them," said Punk. "People would ask him all the time why he
was not getting rid of any of them. Roy is very sentimental and lives and breathes these cattle and bulls, so he stuck
with all of these cows and it really paid off. Most of these cows are still alive and still producing. They are 19 years old
this year and everyone of them is bred and has a 2010 calf on them," explained Punk before he talked about Alligator.
"Alligator was a freak of nature. He was a really pretty bull and would kick really high. I remember the first time I saw Kid
Rock. He bucked just like his dad Alligator, real high and way up over his head," said Punk.

Punk and Roy along with their father John are well-known in the cutting industry and the Carter name has been
synonymous with success in both the cutting and the bucking bull worlds. In addition to the purchase from his brother,
Roy always made a point to implement the best into his program.

One bull Roy used because he was the best bull out there at the time was White Lightning. Additionally over time Roy
also added the influence of mexican fighting blood from bulls with NFR calibar-heat and some highlander blood through
breeding to Toy Tiger.

Over the years many note-worthy bulls have stemmed from this ornate and industrious program eventually finding
themselves on trucks of some of the best-known contractors in the business. Some of these brazen buckers are; Flying
U's 31 Typhoon, 88 Festus, 57 John Carter, Buckshot and Tony Lama, Butler & Sons 171, 132 and 71 Slam Dunk,
Mesquite Rodeo's 5 Fort Worth, Bradford Ivy's 1RC and Dow, Sonny Linger's 111 Davy Crockett, Jim Zinzer's 16 Goat,
Western Rodeos' CT2 Curly, David Bailey's Copenhagen Pie, Awesome Possum, RCX Alligator and RC 27 Super Star,
Circle D's 81 Rapid Fire, 07 Black Satan's Velvet, 3X Hav-a-Chew, and RC and Steiner's RC, RC7, 11 and Roanie. Off
Roy's truck came Kid Rock, 2X Uncle Kracker, 22X Gator Back, X63 Kryptonite, 11 Anaconda, 322 Eddie Munster, 11
Red Rock and Snow Cone to name a few.

The ABBI Sanctioned 2nd Ever Carter Production Sal,e through approximately 200 lots, provides an opportunity to gain
a piece of what has made Roy Carter Bucking Bulls what it is today.

Some bull highlights of the sale will be two '09 full-brothers to Kid Rock, PBR Finals bull Fraggle Rock a Mighty Whitey
son Carter purchased from Norris Dalton as a 2-year-old at Jerry Nelson's sale, and buckers LYJ1X and LYJ2X which
are full flush brothers out of the prolific cow RC 10 and sired by Little Yellow Jacket.

Kid Rock's genetic influence will always be something Carter promotes heavily, however this year's sale spotlight will
shine on Eddie Munster. Most of Carter's cows will be selling exposed to him and one of the lots sure to raise eyebrows
is that of the dynamic bucker's dam RC T5.

Other female lots that should generate excitement include; a maternal half-sister to Kid Rock sired by Blueberry Wine
and a multitude of daughters or grand-daughters by legendary bulls like Reindeer Dippin', Uncle Kracker, Panhandle
Slim, White Lightning, Eddie Munster, Slim Pickens, The Darkness, Alligator, Kid Rock, Captain Crook, Black Scorpion,
Toy Tiger and Screamon Deamon.

Cows will sell with calves at their sides by Captain Crook, Fraggle Rock, 810 Hemi an NFR bull that was hauled by Stace
Smith and Baker 050 a Wolfman son out of a Pacific Bell daughter. Guest consignments from Kevin Loudamy and
others will include daughters of Uncle Charlie and Katy Did.

When it comes time to listen to pedigrees during the Carter Sale on May 12 the one and only Rob Smets will be doing
the reading. Look for him to add colorful insight to many of these lots with genetics that are deeply rooted in hot-
blooded mexican influence.

The sale begins at 12 pm at the Buffalo Livestock Market in Buffalo, Texas and can be viewed from the comfort of your
home on RFD-TV or via the internet on the Superior Livestock Auction website.
